Janet B. Batchelder

Janet Batchelder, 97, of Sandwich, NH and formerly Rumford, RI passed away on October 11, 2019, at her home after a period of declining health. Janet always said, "It's a great life if you don't weaken." Janet was married to the late Robert Batchelder, and was the daughter of the late Lt. Colonel Harold and Maude Bentley.

Janet enjoyed winters in Naples, FL for many years. She loved swimming in Naples and Bearcamp Pond in Sandwich which was a special place for her from age 2. Janet's life revolved around loving and caring for her family.

Janet leaves her son, Stephen Batchelder of Sandwich, NH, her daughter, Leanne Ball of Merrimack, NH and her grandchildren, Jennifer Ball of Hoboken, NJ, Susan Ball of Merrimack, NH, Lori Batchelder of Concord, NH, Christine Batchelder of Sandwich, NH and Daniel Batchelder and his wife, Caity of New Hampton, NH. She also leaves her great-grandsons Kobe Pimentel and Bryson Batchelder, and nieces and nephews.
