Janet Brady Lodge

Janet (Brady) Lodge, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2025, at the Villa Crest Assisted Living Community, with her son and daughter by her side. She was born on June 17, 1932, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Albert S. Brady, Sr. and Theresa (O'Neil) Brady. She was the wife of James H. Lodge, and lived most of her life in Hooksett, NH.

For years, Janet was a communicant of Grace Episcopal Church, Manchester, NH.

She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, class of 1950. She furthered her education in the dental field, and went on to work as a Dental Assistant for Harry Hughes, DDS and Henry Plodzyk, DDS for over 40 years.

After Jim & Janet retired, they enjoyed traveling to the West Coast and Florida visiting relatives and friends. Her hobbies included scuba diving, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, hunting & fishing and vacationing in the Great North Woods of NH. She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts. Janet was a member of the Eastern Star/ Masons and Rainbow Girls. Janet's love of life extended beyond her own family to include all the children whom she came in contact with. All of them wished to be "Janet's child."

Janet was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 70 years, James H. Lodge; her brother Albert S. Brady, Jr; and her son Thomas B. Lodge.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey J. Lodge and wife Cheryl of Hooksett, NH; her daughter Debra A. Jacobs and husband Michael of Manchester, NH; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Pinegrove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

The Family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Villa Crest Retirement Community and the Manchester VNA Hospice staff for the wonderful care and attention extended to her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
