Janet E.L. Scheinler Farrant LACONIA Janet Emily Lee Scheinler Farrant, 68, of Laconia, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, after a battle with cancer. She was born July 1, 1935 in Meriden, Conn. She grew up in Newark, N.J., and Connecticut. She married the late John H. Scheinler Jr. in 1955 and they lived many years and raised their children in Nutley, N.J. and on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. She lovingly gave her daughter, Donna Scheinler, one of her kidneys in 1979. A part of her still lives on. She enjoyed life, traveling and living in many parts of the country, including many years in Hawaii, Florida, Canada, and the New England states. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her five children, John H. Scheinler III, his wife Robin of Jupiter, Fla., Jill Swift, her husband Michael, of California, Janice Moore and her husband John of Silver Lake, Thomas Scheinler and his wife Casey of Loudon, and Donna Scheinler of Laconia; nine grandchildren, Tamara, John and Sierra of Jupiter, Fla., Lara Jenkins and her husband Timothy of California, and Janelle Donavan and her husband James of Lisbon, Eric and John "Jack" Moore of Silver Lake, Beau and Sun Mi Scheinler of Loudon; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Ashton Jenkins of California; a sister, Patricia Lippert and her husband Leslie of Cornwall, England; sister in-law Mary Scheinler of Nutley, N.J.; nephew Gabriel Lee of Washington state. She was predeceased by her first husband, John H. Scheinler Jr., her mother, Florence Lee and her brother, Clark Lee. Memorial Service to be held on Wednesday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 30 Eastman Street, Concord.
