Janice Fay Wilson, 77, of Rindge, NH, passed away on October 23, 2024, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH. She was born in Ogden, Utah on February 24, 1947 into a large farming family to the late Floyd and Eglentine (Bill) Hamblin.

Janice attended Franklin Pierce University and Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her MBA. She dedicated decades of her career to Briarwood Retirement Community in Worcester, ultimately retiring as Chief Financial Officer. Following her retirement, she continued her commitment to community service by working with the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention in Keene, NH, a testament to her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

A true lover of life, she found a partner in David Wilson. They married in 1994 and lived a joyous life together on Monomonac Lake in Rindge, NH until his death in 2019.

She is cherished by her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters, going on excursions with her friends, and remained deeply connected to her grandsons and son-in-law. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore new parts of the world, enriching her life with diverse experiences and friendships.

Janice was also devoted to giving back to her community, volunteering for organizations such as the Red Cross, the Rindge Food Pantry, and The Park Theatre in Jaffrey. Her endless curiosity and passion for meeting new people were hallmarks of her character, and she approached each day with positivity, compassion, and wisdom.

Janice leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Janice was predeceased by her brother Ronald Hamblin; sister Jeanette Nield; and sister-in-law June Hamblin.

She is survived by her daughters Michelle Paranto and Danielle Andrzejczyk and her husband Colin Andrzejczyk; grandsons Jacob Andrzejczyk and Bradley Andrzejczyk; her daughter’s brother-in-law Christian Andrzejczyk; brothers Glenn Hamblin, Stanley Hamblin, and Steven Hamblin; sister Joyce Kearns; sister-in-laws Rochelle Hamblin, Marcia Hamblin, and Alison Hamblin; brother-in-laws Ray Kearns and Mel Neild; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
