Jean L. Biron

Jean “Jeano” Biron passed away on January 5th, 2025, at the age of 74 in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Jean was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, the youngest child of Alfred Joseph Biron and Marie Loretta (Vincent) Biron. He graduated from West High School and then the NH Technical College in Manchester. Jean lived in Goffstown for over 40 years. He retired from PSNH after 35 years of service as a lineman and system dispatcher. In retirement, he ran a successful massage therapy business for several years.

Jean enjoyed the outdoors. In his younger years, he cared for a large vegetable garden, along with his family, every year. He loved to camp in Northern NH as well as other places around the Northeast. He knew good fishing spots on every river. After retirement from PSNH, he golfed with friends and family often.

Jeano made friends easily and seemed to know everyone. Everywhere he went, regardless of state or even country, he would run into someone he knew. He was the life of every party he attended.

Jean is survived by his former wife, Ruth Anne Mary (St. Pierre) Biron, their two children, son John Luke Biron (wife Jennifer Biron) and daughter Sara Beth Biron Santaniello (husband Vincent Santaniello), his brother Jerry Biron (wife Louise), and his four grandchildren Jonathan and Julie Biron, Giovanni and Nathaniel Santaniello. Jean is preceded in death by his parents and sister Louise (Biron) Paquin.

The family will receive friends at Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester on January 23rd from 10am to 12pm. Jean’s ashes will be scattered in a private family ceremony. To view an online memorial, leave a message of condolence, or for more information please visit www.csnh.com.
