Jean I. Goss, 84, of Ring Road, formerly of Dunbarton, died on July 11, 2007 at the Inn at Deerfield, Deerfield, NH. She was born on September 25, 1922 in Concord, the daughter of Henry J. and Margaret (Dane) Crowley. Jean was raised in Concord, where she attended local schools. She later moved to Dunbarton , where she lived most of her adult life. Besides being a homemaker, she had worked for Southern Bell in VA; AT-T formerly known as New England Telephone, Thompson & Hoague, and Southers Market, all of Concord. An accomplished equestrian, she had a great love for Morgan Horses. She was an artist working with both oil and water colors. She was a weaver, and she did calligraphy, studying under Sister Margaret Mary of the Carmelites in Concord. Jean also was a lover of nature and always enjoyed walking her dogs. She leaves a daughter, Lynne Yeaton, and her husband Bruce of Loudon; and a nephew Dane Malcolm of Contoocook. There are no calling hours. An interment service will be held on August 17, 2007 at 1 PM at the Chapel at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Goss memory to Charities of ones choice. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
