It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Claude Vachon, announces his passing on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the age of 86, peacefully at Granite VNA Hospice in Concord. 

Born September 21, 1939, in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, he was the son of the late Leon and Irene (Raymond) Vachon. Jean Claude was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He could always be found at the kitchen table with a “little” beer, watching the birds and admiring the outdoors! A hardworking painter in construction for many years, he cherished time spent at the beach with his beloved wife of 60 years, Suzette.

He is survived by his children, Rene, Richard, wife Karen Hebert, Tina Lemire and husband Josh; grandchildren Meghan and Nicholas Vachon, and Riley and Colton Lemire; brothers Rejean, Henri, and Fernand; and sisters Lucille Boucher, Louisette Jacques, Pauline LaPierre, and Gislaine Vachon.

He was predeceased by his wife Suzette (Fauteux) Vachon; brothers Paul, Raymond, Rosaire, Lucien, and Denis; and sisters Jeanine Lavallee, Suzanne Vachon, Jaqueline Lemay, and Cecile Gendron.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Cremation Society of NH on Thursday, May 7th from 11am to 1pm, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester NH.
