Jeanine Cheryl Ann (Levesque) Billhymer, 72, passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2025, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, with her family by her side.
Born on June 15, 1953, in Fort Fairfield, ME, she was the daughter of George and Aline Levesque.
Jeanine was a woman with an infectious laugh, one that could often be heard during a weekly game in the Nutfield Gathering Room or ringing through the air at family parties. She had a zest for life and a gift for marching to the beat of her own drum.
Playful and mischievous by nature, Jeanine delighted in practical jokes. Her nieces. Liza and Julie, fondly remember water gun fights and the mysterious knocks at the front door that sent them racing to see who could answer first-always followed by Jeanine’s unmistakable laughter drifting from upstairs.
She found joy in the simple things; losing herself in a good book, watching Christmas movies no matter the season, or answering the familiar question of what one could expect with her signature reply, “glass snakes.”
Above all, Jeanine adored her beloved cats, who were constant companions throughout the years, giving her endless comfort and happiness.
Jeanine was a wonderful Sister, Aunt, cat mom, and friend, who will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is predeceased by her parents, George and Aline Levesque, as well as her siblings, Simone Eastman, Conrad Levesque, and Velma Jordan.
Jeanine is survived by her brother, Joseph Levesque, her sister, Lillian and husband Don Pelletier, her sister JoAnne Levesque, and her nieces and nephews, Mike, Dave, Sandra, Dan, Larry, Camilla, Michelle, Denise, Keith, Liza, and Julie. Many great nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday September 17, 2025, at 11:00AM at the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Derry, NH.
Flowers and Gifts of Sympathy for Jeanine and her family may be sent to The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, located at 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
