Jeanne (Neveu) Cole

Jeanne A. (Neveu) Cole, age 69, of Candia, NH, formerly of Raymond and Suncook NH, went to be with the Lord on December 28 2016, after an extended and brave battle with cancer.

Jeanne, the daughter of Roger E. Neveu and Theresa A. (Lavoie) Neveu, was born on May 29, 1947 in Manchester, NH and grew up in Suncook, NH, marrying her loving husband, John S. Cole in 1965. The couple started their family in Suncook, moving to Raymond, NH for many years before retiring in Candia, NH.

Jeanne worked for many years in the NH State Park system, and then as bookkeeper for the family wholesale business, however Jeanne always felt that her greatest accomplishment was raising a loving family.

Jeanne was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become "Grammy" to her grandchildren. Jeanne loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. Many laughs and memories were made around the dinner table playing donuts, pigs or other games.

Jeanne loved the outdoors and wildlife and spent many hours enjoying all God's creations in nature, especially the five-old-guys that visited the bird feeders in the backyard. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Auburn NH. Jeanne was often heard to say how blessed she was to have so many close and dear friends in her life, she was an active member in Candia Women's Club, doing community service and meeting new people. Jeanne looked forward every year to the warm sunny beaches of Aruba, making sure the spare bedroom was filled with those close to her.

Jeanne was the loving wife of John S. Cole for 51 years, devoted mother and friend to her children; son Michael J and his wife Tami L of Raymond, son Brian D of Manchester, and loving "Grammy" to Richard A and Benjamin P, there was never any doubt of the love and closeness of her family. Jeanne is also survived by her sister Jacqueline (Jackie) Berry of Meredith, NH, her brother Richard (Dick) Neveu of Concord, NH, and several nieces and nephews.

We will hold her in our hearts until we can hold her again in Heaven.
