Jeanne (Girard) Theriault

Jeanne Theriault, 93, native and lifelong Nashua resident, died February 23, 2026, after a brief illness. The daughter of Theophile and Josephine (Gagnon) Girard, she was born May 23, 1932. Jeanne attended St. Louis de Gonzague parochial school and graduated from St. Louis High, Class of 1950. A homemaker, Jeanne also worked at St Joseph Hospital for 21 years as pharmacy secretary. She was a communicant of St Louis Church and enjoyed reading, bowling, gardening, and cross-country skiing. She celebrated 59 years of marriage to the late Maurice Theriault. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Anne Theriault (Richard) of Nashua, Claire Burke (Martin) of Chesapeake, VA, and Paul Theriault of Milford, NH, three grandchildren, Julie-Anne Chop of Portsmouth, VA, Elisabeth Chop of Richmond, VA, and Catherine Chop of Dallas, TX. Also two great-grandchildren, Brianna Aquino and Shakorey Williamson, great-great grandchild Ava Gatlin and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Juliette and Guy Jean, and several nephews and nieces. Jeanne was predeceased by her brothers Wilfrid Girard and Lucien Girard, grandchildren Jeanne Marie Chop and Meghan Theriault and daughter-in-law Susan Theriault. 

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Aloysius on March 7, 2026 at 10:00 am with burial to occur at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church. Sincere gratitude to the staff at the Hunt Community for their loving care.
