Jeannette Hicks

Jeannette Elaine Hicks, 82, of Rochester, NH, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2023 after a period of declining health at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH.

Jeannette was born in Rochester, NH on February 19, 1940. One of seven siblings, she was the oldest daughter of Wilfred and Eldora (Emmond) Doyon. She graduated from Holy Rosary High School in 1958 and married Ronald N. Andreason, also of Rochester, NH, later that year. They raised five children and following a divorce, Jeannette moved to California where she met and married Gerald K. (Jerry) Hicks. She and Jerry were married on October 12, 1982 and lived in Fairfield, CA until they retired to Caves Junction, OR, and a few years later to Jerry's home town, Clio, MI. After Jerry's passing in 2012, Jeannette finally returned to her hometown of Rochester, NH.

Jeannette had a youthful outlook on life, a great sense of humor, and incredible determination. She and Jerry enjoyed working together on their many home improvement projects over the years. Her other favorite pastimes were gardening, bird watching, reading, playing games, watching the Red Sox and Patriots and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Jeannette is survived by her five children, Cheryl Andreason and husband Dennis Crisp of Farmington, NH, Debra Andreason of Fairfield, CA, Dean Andreason and partner Felene Grammer of Gilford, NH, Linda Andreason of Rochester, NH, Brian Andreason of Rochester, NH; four grandchildren, Michelle Feliciano of CA, Jennifer Andreason of ME, Jeremy Andreason of ME, Kristina Andreason of NC; and one great grandchild, Diego Feliciano of CA. She is also survived by three step-children, Randall Hicks of CA, Sharon Hicks of CA, Mashelle Kenney of ID; and five step-grandchildren, BreAnna Murphy of CA, McKayla Mortensen of CA, Coraline Hicks of CA, CJ Kenney of ID and Kolby Kenney of ID.
