Jeannine Cardin, lifelong resident of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on Sunday October 4th, 2026. She was born on July 2nd, 1951 to Leo and Yvette (Laperle) Levesque.
She was married for nearly 54 years to her husband, Loren R.Cardin.
Jeannine was a graduate of the former St. Louis High School in Nashua, Keene State College, and Northern Essex Community College.She was employed for over 40 years at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, in the Medical Records Department.
Jeannine leaves behind her husband, Loren, and her two sons, Jeremy, of Nashua, with his partner in life Bonnie Komada, and Jonathan of Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife Courtney. She also leaves her brother Richard, of Nashua, and his wife Mary Lynn. She was a loving Memere to her three granddaughters, June Cardin, of Cincinnati OH, and Ruby and Rose Cardin, of Louisville.She is also survived by her brothers in law and sisters in law Richard and Patty Cardin of Seabrook Beach NH, Robert and Kathy Cardin of Hampton NH and Mike and Maryellen Gibbons of Scituate MA. Also nephews, nieces and cousins.She also leaves three long-time special friends, Tom Brown, Sophie Fabian and Paulette Rochette.
“Nin” loved doing crafts, especially sewing, knitting and quilting. Many people were gifted with her knit slippers, quilts, and her Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.
The most important part of Jeannine’s life was her family. She was immensely proud of her two sons, whom she often called her greatest accomplishment in life. She treasured memories of the many family gatherings throughout her life, especially the ones at Greenfield State Park. If you wish to honor her memory, please strengthen the bonds you have with all of the members of your family.
There will be a private family graveside service at the convenience of the family.
