Jeffrey Landroche

Jeffrey Wilfred Landroche, 67, of Rochester, NH, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at his home.

Jeff was born on August 13, 1952 in Lancaster, NH to Leo Landroche and Joanne Landroche Muise. After graduating from Newmarket High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from UNH with a self-designed major in audio engineering. While raising a family in Berwick, ME he worked for Fishtraks Studio and Fleetwood Recording for many years. He then owned and operated his own recording studio, Landrock Recording Services, while continuing to travel, recording conferences all over the country.

Jeff was creative beyond words. He was a talented and well-respected musician, songwriter, engineer, and collaborator on many musical projects. In the late 70s he created the band, Landrock, which toured all over New England. Between performing and releasing his own solo album, he wrote and recorded Christmas songs with his family instead of sending out Christmas cards. He had a deep passion for the Beatles and was so proud to perform in the band Get Back/All Together Now, where you could find him simultaneously singing, strumming a guitar, and playing the keyboard all at once. He never stopped writing and recording his own heartfelt songs and putting them to video.

He loved days outside at the family camp on Back Lake, fishing the hidden streams of Pittsburg, NH, planting his own vegetable garden, a good and often inappropriate joke, the newest gadgets on the market, and especially time spent with his family and friends. He had a special spot in his heart for animals of any kind. What stands out the most about Jeff is the kindness he exuded to all. He was generous and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be so missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents Leo Arthur Landroche of Ashland, NH and Joanne Landroche Muise of Lancaster, NH, as well as his beloved stepfather, Arthur Muise.

He leaves behind his daughter Lindsay Koelker and her husband Jared, of North Berwick, ME; his son Cory Landroche of Los Angeles, CA; cherished granddaughters Madelyn and Anna Koelker; his sister Janine Elliott and brother Jon Landroche, both of Lancaster, NH; stepsister Linda Muise of Dover, NH; stepbrother Don Muise of Flagstaff, AZ; stepsister Cathy Byham of Linden, PA; his special love Mary Stinehour; and the mother of his children Nancy Landroche Levasseur, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and an abundance of wonderful friends.

A celebration of life is planned for this summer, where we will honor Jeff, his music, and his love for all. Donations in Jeff's memory may be made to http://continuumarts.org. As Jeff's own lyrics say, "Take this love and pass it round, for people up and people down… the love we send, the world today, comes back in many ways."

Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH. To view Jeff's Online Tribute, send condolences to the family, or for more information, visit www.csnh.com.
