Jerilyn "Jeri" May Bredbury, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born on October 22, 1944, in Shirley, MA. Jeri is survived by her brother Seth Bredbury and his wife Charlene of North Hampton, MA, and her sister Patricia (Bredbury) of Stow, MA.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Gerald & Mary (Blackwood) Bredbury of North Hampton, MA, as well as her brother-in-law Charles Wood, niece Erin Woods, nephew Kyle Wood of Stow, MA.
Jeri lived a remarkable life defined by intelligence, independence, determination, and an unwavering commitment to living life on her own terms. She built a successful career in the technology industry during a time when few women occupied leadership and technical roles, earning the respect of colleagues and peers through her talent, work ethic, and sharp mind.
Jeri had a deep love for jazz music and could often be found enjoying her favorite artists and recordings. She was known for her strong opinions, quick wit, and candid nature. Friends and family knew that if Jeri had something to say, she would say it honestly and without hesitation.
Despite physical challenges later in life and being wheelchair-bound, Jeri remained fiercely independent. She continued to travel, stay active, and manage her affairs with the same determination that had characterized her entire life. Her resilience and strength inspired those around her.
Jeri treasured her friendships and valued meaningful conversations, loyalty, and authenticity. She touched many lives through her generosity, guidance, and friendship over the years.
Jeri’s family & friends would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Community Hospice House for their care, compassion and companionship shown to Jeri during her final days.
Jeri will be remembered for her intelligence, independence, sense of humor, strength of character, and the lasting impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
