Jerry E. Riel, 75, passed away peacefully at the Concord Hospice House on October 21 after a brief illness with his wife and family members by his side. He was born on August 28, 1950 in Concord, NH, raised in Loudon where he made his home for many years.
Jerry worked as a machine operator at Brezner Tannery in Penacook and finished as a mechanic at Elektrisola in Boscawen.
Jerry enjoyed hot rods, riding his Harley, and hunting and fishing with family members and friends. He also enjoyed tinkering on his vehicles, working in the yard, and hiking in the mountains with his wife Ellie and his dogs.
Jerry was a good man with a big heart and was quick to help others who needed it, and he will be sorely missed.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and one son. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, one son, two brothers, seven sisters, five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration will be held and place of burial announced at a later date.
