Joan I. Hawkins

Joan Isabel Hawkins, 81, formerly of Goffstown, died peacefully, Friday, July 29, 2022, at Merrimack County Nursing Home, in Boscawen.

Joan was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia on January 25, 1941, to George Alderson and Kathleen Alderson (Young).

She was the wife of Arthur J. Hawkins who passed away in 2013.

She was predeceased by her brother, George Alderson, sister, Judy Pilon and sister, Anne M. LeBlanc.

Joan loved playing bingo and taking the occasional trip to Las Vegas.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Witkum (Hawkins), son, Harry E. Hawkins, and son Craig Hawkins and his wife Christine Hawkins. Grandchildren, Jack Witkum, Nathan Hawkins, and Nicholas Hawkins. She will be sadly missed. Services will be held at a later date in Nova Scotia, Canada.
