Joan E. Martell

Groton, NH Joan E. (Jollimore) Martell, formerly of Billerica, MA, died June 24, 2007, peacefully in Christ and was surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 30, 1933. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from Billerica Memorial High School class 1951. She was employed by Raytheon and DeMoulas/Market Basket and was a member of the Billerica Fireman's Wives Association. After retirement, she loved to travel south to see her family and friends. She also enjoyed using her computer. Family members include her husband of 53 years, Kenneth R. Martell, Sr. of Groton, NH; four sons, Kenneth and Louise Martell of Groton, NH, David and Judy Martell of Billerica, MA, Daniel and Jill Martell of Nashua, NH and Thomas Martell of Allenstown, NH and her daughter Joan and Mark Del Negro of Centerville, MA, and her 14 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Rolfe Cemetery, North Groton Rd., North Groton, NH with the Rev. John Fischer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
