JoAnne Button

JoAnne Button, age 77, of Boscawen, passed away on May 21, 2018 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen. She was born on May 27, 1940 in Derry, NH, the daughter of Everard and Dorothy (Dearborn) Smith.
She lived in Epsom prior to moving to Boscawen many years ago.
JoAnne worked as a bank teller for Merrimack County Savings Bank in Boscawen prior to her retirement.
Her hobbies and interests included reading, cooking and NASCAR.
Along with her husband of nearly 43 years, Chester W. Button of Boscawen, she is survived by two sons, David M. Floyd of Manchester, and Derek A. Floyd of San Diego, CA: two stepsons, Brian Button of Greenland, and Dane Button of New Haven, CT; three stepdaughters, Deborah Cressy and Holly Button, both of Concord, NH and Heidi Malo of San Diego of CA; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren: one sister Jean Charland of Derry; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Virginia Ball of Manchester by Sea, MA.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 8th at 11:30am at the NH State Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Boscawen, NH. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jo's memory to the Merrimack County Nursing Home, Boscawen, NH or the Salvation Army, Concord, NH.
