Joanne H. Cournoyer

Joanne H. Cournoyer Derry, NH – Joanne H. Cournoyer, 73, of Derry died September 20, 2007 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Manchester, NH on May 29, 1934, the daughter of Henry and Antoinette (Legendre) Cournoyer. Raised in Derry, Jo, as her friends knew her, most recently lived in Derry. She had previously resided in Danville. She graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1952, the University of NH of 1956 and Boston University in 1964. Miss Cournoyer had worked for Feinberg Wool in Boston, taught for Pinkerton Academy and Alvirne High School. She was also a Promotional Director for Gingiss Formal Wear. She served as president of the Derry Business and Professional Women’s Club and as a state treasurer. Her family members include her two brothers, Robert Cournoyer of Houma, LA and Henry Cournoyer of Derry, NH; two sisters, Elaine Angwin of Bedford, NH and Arline Tsetsilas of Derry, NH; seven nieces and nephews and four grandnieces and grandnephews.
