Joanne L. Martineau

Joanne Laurie Martineau, 71, returned to her heavenly home on June 12, 2017 after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Joanne's family includes her daughter Laurie-Ann Cloutier and son Brian Martineau, whom she shared with her former spouse, Paul Martineau. Joanne also leaves behind her son-in-law Brian Cloutier and daughter- in- law Sonya Martineau. As well as her grandchildren, Hannah Cloutier, Abby Cloutier, Lance Martineau, Dana Martineau, Christopher Swanson, her sister Mary Leonard and her nephew Timmy Lolicata, with whom she had a close relationship.

Joanne is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ursula Bernier as well as her brother James Bernier.

Joanne's greatest source of joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed the meaningful time she spent with her friends in her bible study group at Manchester Christian Church, as well as all her close friends at the Elliott Pulmonary Rehabilitation. She loved her summers spent at the beach and was an avid sports fan, especially football.
