John T. "Jack" Biggins, 79, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, October 18, 2018 following a lengthy period of declining health.
Jack was born in Somerville, MA on February 25, 1939 to Martin E. and Mary (Hoy) Biggins. He was raised in Somerville and moved to Billerica shortly after marrying his high school sweetheart, Josephine Grieco in July of 1960. He was a self-employed construction worker for several years and also owned Lincoln Trucking. Jack and Josephine raised four beautiful daughters who each brought an immeasurable amount of light into his life. He enjoyed watching old sitcoms as well as western movies, and he possessed a wonderfully dark and witty sense of humor.
Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Josephine (Grieco) Biggins; daughter, Bonnie Gilbert and her husband, Paul; daughter, Janice Munroe and her husband, John; daughter, Jacqueline MacDonald and her partner, Bill Gonsalves; and daughter, Sharon LaClair and her husband, Robert; one sister, Doris Pratt; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
