John T. Emery

John Thomas Emery Jr., 56, of Manchester, N.H. died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on Feb. 16, 1963 in Methuen, M.A., the son of John and Arline Emery, the eldest of 5 children (Lynn, Wayne, Jamie, and Michael).

He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Barbara Emery, and his children Kristen Tellier (husband Brian), Kerri Emery (significant other Andrew Noyes), and Jonathan Emery (wife Amanda). His stepchildren Phillip Keech (wife Barbara), Sean Keech (wife Heather), and Stephen Keech.

John cherished his time with all of his young grandchildren. His own "inner kid" shined when in the presence of Rylie Bethune (15), Lylah Tellier (10), Morgan Tellier (8), Logan Keech (3), and Jensen Keech (1).

He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved spending time fishing, four wheeling up in the mountains, snowmobiling, hunting, and spending time at the beach. When he wasn't outside he enjoyed spending time in his home workshop and hand-making wood memorabilia. He excelled artistically, and really enjoyed gifting his creations. He loved the game of football and you could always count on him to represent the Patriots with his favorite hat. It brought him so much joy to see the Patriots win another AFC and Superbowl Championship this season!

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial gathering 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, N.H. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Evangelical Baptist Church, 50 Washington St., Laconia N.H.
