John A. Garcia

John Anthony Garcia, 86, of Litchfield, NH passed away on October 12, 2024, at the Community Hospice in Merrimack, NH. Born and raised in Lowell, MA, John was born on June 13, 1938, to the late Francis and Jeanette (Patenaude) Garcia.

A proud graduate of Lowell High School, he excelled in Track & Field, showcasing a competitive spirit that defined much of his life. After completing his education, John pursued a successful career as a mechanical engineer. He dedicated his professional life to the Lowell Housing Authority and the Billerica House of Corrections, where his contributions made a lasting impact on the community.

John was not only committed to his work but also deeply valued spending time with friends and family. He was an active member of his church, where his faith and kindness touched many lives.

He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen M. Garcia

John leaves behind his beloved daughters Kelly Mann and her husband Russell Mann, and Heather Bouchard and her husband Brian Bouchard; grandchildren Alyssa Tetrault and her husband Bryce Tetrault, Nathan Mann and his wife Sarah Mann, and Colin Bouchard; great grandchildren Ellie Decoulos and Jaden Tetrault; sister Jo Ann Bell and her husband Micky Bell; brother Dick Garcia and his wife Carol Garcia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Tyngsborough Memorial Cemetery.
