John Brewster Hamblet

Dr. John Brewster Hamblet, Sr. died peacefully at Lowell General Hospital, Massachusetts, on June 1, 2014 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Hope Gurney Hamblet for 66 years, loving father of Joan L. Hamblet of Portsmouth, NH; John B. Hamblet, Jr. of Lowell, MA; Elizabeth H. Gardiner (James) of Southlake, TX and Laura H. Burke of Ft. Mitchell, KY. He was the devoted grandfather of seven and uncle to Margaret H. Sarner of Newark, DE. John was born in Lowell, MA on February 27.
