John Guy Hayes

John Guy Hayes, 76, of New York died at the VA Hospital in New York City on July 8, 2003 following a lengthy illness. Mr. Hayes was born on November 12, 1926 in Fredricksberg, Maryland the son of the late Beverly P. and Margaret (Goldsworthy) Hayes. He was a U S Army Veteran. He owned and operated Faces West Beauty Salon for several years featuring his own line of cosmetics. Mr. Hayes retired in December 2002 after 20 years at the House of George Salon in New York City. He was a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church. Family members include; a sister-in-law, Lucille G. Hayes of Concord, NH; one niece, Kathryn H. Mevers of Concord, NH; and one great niece and great nephew. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date at St. Ignatius Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Frostburg Memorial Park in Frostburg, Maryland.
