John Howard Dearborn

John "Johnny" Howard Dearborn of 93 Court St. Laconia, New Hampshire, passed away on May 29th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

John was born on August 16, 1947 in Laconia, New Hampshire. John, better known to many as "Johnny", had a life filled with joy and adventure. Despite his developmental disabilities, Johnny lived a long and happy life. He had an infectious smile and laugh, and he loved to joke with friends and family. His passion for cars and racing was unmatched, though never being able to drive himself. Whenever guests would be leaving after a visit, he would excitedly encourage them to, "Do a burn out! Light ‘em up!" He also enjoyed fishing and listening to his scanner in his free time. 

He was loved by many and well known for sitting on his front stoop smoking his pipe. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his friends all across town. 

John was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Richard Dearborn; his brother, James “Jim” Dearborn, Sr; and his nephew & best friend James “Jamie” Dearborn, Jr.

A graveside memorial service will be held for Johnny on Monday August 14, at 10 am at the family plot in Park Cemetery, Tilton NH. Everyone is welcome to attend.
