John Melvidas Jr

John Melvidas, 91, of North Andover, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025.

John was a devoted father, grandfather, and uncle, remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and steady presence in the lives of those who loved him. He was always there for his family, offering support whenever he could. John didn’t like to sit still—he was always on the move. He loved fishing, spending time at his camp with his children, dining at the Ninety Nine, and enjoying countless other simple pleasures.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Melvidas; his son and daughter-in-law, John H. and Linda Melvidas; his grandsons, John and Sean Melvidas; his nieces, Jody Gosselin, Janie Hartnett, and Kim Silva; and his nephews and their wives, Billy and Anne Marie Brown, and Jimmy and Maureen Sheehan.
