John E."Jay" Palmer

John E. Palmer, Jr., "Jay", 77, of Weare, NH, died 02/16/21 after a brief hospital stay, with his daughter by his side.

Jay was born in Manchester, NH, April 8, 1943 to John E. Palmer and Dorothy (Doussas) Palmer. He spent his youth in Reading, MA and Readfield, ME where he attended his beloved Kents Hill School. He then attended Michigan State University, New England College (Graduated Summa Cum Laude), and Law School at Suffolk in Boston. He practiced law for many years in Weare, NH where he built a house for himself and his family. He was an avid hunter and gun enthusiast and he was also an exceptionally talented mechanic; his most recent project was building a '55 Chevy. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and dedication to his family.

Jay is survived by his daughter Dawn, son Jack, grandson Dawson, as well as extended family.

A graveside service will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Reading, MA on May 8th at 11:00AM.
