John A. Sidlik, 67, of Manchester died January 30, 2007 at the Laurel Center following a lengthy illness. John was born on June 4, 1939 in Manchester the son of Albert and Nellie (Piecuch) Sidlik. He graduated from Central High School and served in the U S Army as well as Army Reserves. John was a loyal employee of Anheuser-Busch for 25 years. He had an appreciation for New Hampshire wildlife and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed freshwater fishing and canoeing in the local lakes and rivers. While antiquing was a favorite pasttime he most recently took an interest in woodworking. John had a great sense of humor and maintained a positive outlook throughout his illness. He was a beloved father and son whose family will miss him dearly. Family members include; his daughter, Heidi Gagnon of Manchester; a son, Michael Guyette of Arizona; four grandchildren, Aleah Carr, Jesse, Joshua and Grace Guyette; his mother, Nellie Sidlik of Manchester; a brother, Allan Sidlik of Berwick, Maine; an aunt, Sophie Boutin, uncle, Matthew Piecuch as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date and the family will contact friends, as to when the service will be. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
