John H. Smith

John H. Smith, 76, of 344 Laurel Street, died March 10, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plains, MA. He was born in Lowell, MA on October 6, 1928, the son of John and Sarah (O’Soro) Smith and had been a Manchester resident for over 40 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He had worked at the D.A.V. and the Fish and Game Club. John loved to travel and spent much time in Portugal. He enjoyed spending time on the computer and was very fond of his two Persian cats. Family members include a sister, several nephews, nieces and cousins and many friends. After cremation, inurnment will take place in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
