John (Jack) Cooper, 90, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on July 27, 2025. He was born on September 30, 1934, in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, the only child of Stanley and Mary Ellen Cooper.
Jack attended Girard College and went on to study at La Salle University. He served his country in the United States Army, where he met Denise in 1955, and together they raised four wonderful children.
In 1982, Jack married Patricia Cooper. Together they raised their son, Adam Cooper. Patricia was his constant companion, and their love was a defining part of his life.
Jack is survived by his children: Elise M. Cooper, John J. Cooper, William S. Cooper, Christine E. Paradise and her husband Peter Paradise, and Adam J. Cooper and his wife Hannah Cooper. He was a proud grandfather to Maverick Cooper, Natalie Cooper, Tabitha Grimes, Joshua Paradise, Jonathan Paradise, John A. Cooper, Nathan Cooper, and Emily Rudoshko , and a great-grandfather to eleven cherished great-grandchildren.
Jack had many passions throughout his life. He found joy in organic gardening, woodworking, reading, history, cooking, and watching mysteries. He loved cracking jokes and telling silly stories, and he never missed a chance to bring a smile to those around him. His travels took him across Europe and the British Isles, enriching his life and the lives of those who shared in his stories. He was also a proud member of Mensa.
Jack will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He has gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire in Manchester, New Hampshire.
