John F. Wilson

John F. Wilson, 75, formerly of 54 Spring Street, Laconia died on April 12, 2001 at the New Hampshire Veterans' Home. Mr. Wilson was born on February 7, 1926 in Cambridge, MA the son of the late John D. and Helen L. (Strickland) Wilson. He was a past post commander of VFW Post 1670 in Laconia and a former member of the Elks and Moose Lodges also in Laconia. He retired from Gerity Lumber in Meredith in 1980 where he was employed as a salesman. Family members include; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Lynn Darnell of Strafford; one grandson, Al Davis IV and four great grandchildren, all of Lake Placid, Florida. He was predeceased by his wife in December 1992, Marie Elizabeth ''Betty'' (Roche) Wilson.
