Jon Oscar Frederickson, 65, of Hampstead, NH, passed away with his wife and sister Loretta by his side on April 22, 2022 after a long valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He showed true courage, heart and a willingness to live life every day with dignity. He is the beloved husband of Lynne (Aslin) Frederickson with whom he shared the last 7 years with.
He was born in Peabody, MA on March 14, 1957 to the late Chester and Jessie (Gaieski) Frederickson.
Jon graduated high school and started working at Market Basket as a teenager. He worked his way up from a bagger all the way to store manager. He was with Market Basket for 34 years. After leaving there he worked as a carpenter and then he started working for Pope Housing in Kingston, NH.
Jon loved sports. He played football and hockey as a youth. He enjoyed watching the Bruins, but was a die hard Patriots fan. He spent time playing golf, going to see the ocean and he loved cooking for and spending time with his family. He truly cherished his family and was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Along with his wife Lynne, Jon is survived by his 5 children; Robyn Frederickson of Derry, NH, Rachel Frederickson and her fiance Kenneth Larry of Candia, NH, Randee Frederickson of Derry, NH, Ryan Frederickson of New Bern, NC, and step-son Benjamin Aguasvivas of Hampstead, NH, his grandchildren; Gabriel, Jonathan, Julia, Joey, and Cameron, his two sisters Loretta Kline and Theresa Lucas, and nieces and nephews; Samantha Hadley-Giambracco, Tamara Hadley, Andrew Lucas, and Jessica Lucas.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 28th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
