Jon S. Stoddard

Jon Scott Stoddard, 64, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at his home in Manchester, NH. He was born on October 2, 1960, in Portland, ME, the son of Williard Stoddard and Mary Pert Stoddard, the fourth of six children. He was a proud father, a great friend, and always quick with an "FYYFF."

Jon attended high school in Manchester. He worked as a quality assurance manager at various manufacturing facilities in NH and NY, including:

• -DuPont/Imagitex
• -Metal Works Incorporated
• -The Horschel Companies
• -AVOX Systems/Zodiac Aerospace
• -Protolabs (Rapid Manufacturing)
• -Ken-Mar Inc.

Jon loved spending time with his beloved daughter, Rachel, and the ‘Stoddard clan.’ While family always came first, a close second were long trips on his motorcycle, where he’d always find a spot to take in the sights and crack a beer. Otherwise, you could find Jon brewing a special beer as part of the PB&J trio or firing up the grill to serve delicious steaks and burgers to his friends and neighbors.

Jon was predeceased by his beloved sisters, Sue Ellen Stoddard Joseph of Bedford and Jo Ann McDonald of Vermont, as well as his brother, James Stoddard of Manchester.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel; sister, Jan; brother, Perry; brother-in-law, David Joseph (Sue); sister-in-law, Becky (Perry); ex-wife and close family friend, Maggie Vossler; and many nieces and nephews, all part of the Stoddard clan—Peter, Tim, Andy, Scott, Jay, Darcie, Jack, Haylie, and Jessica.

Jon is also survived by many close friends in New Hampshire and New York, including Kim, Nate, Bob, Chris, Dave and Carl, as well as many more whose names we cannot list—your friendship meant the world to him.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
