Jordan Robert Vachon, 33, passed away on October 13, 2026, just eight days before his 34th birthday. Born in Port Charlotte, Florida, Jordan moved with his family to New Hampshire at the age of three, where he grew up and made countless memories.

From a very young age, Jordan displayed boundless energy, determination, and an extraordinary passion for sports. A naturally gifted athlete, he excelled in basketball, baseball, and football. His talent and dedication on the basketball court earned him a scholarship opportunity to the University of Maine, an accomplishment that reflected his remarkable abilities and potential. Although life’s circumstances ultimately led him down a different path, his love of sports remained a lifelong passion.

Jordan had a wonderful sense of humor, a beautiful, infectious smile, and just enough of a mischievous streak to keep those around him laughing. Gifted with a natural singing ability, he loved music and could often be heard singing wherever he went. He also had a special love for animals, particularly cats and dogs.

One of Jordan’s greatest joys was spending time with his beloved daughter, Aurora “Rory” Vachon. Whether fishing together, taking walks, or simply enjoying time with their cats, they shared a special bond. Jordan’s cherished orange cat, Munchie, will now make his home with Rory, providing a loving connection to her dad.

As Jordan grew older, life’s journey presented challenges that were not always easy to overcome. Though his experiences sometimes gave him a guarded exterior, beneath it was a tender and caring heart. Through his own struggles, Jordan developed a deep understanding of the difficulties others face and a desire to make a difference. He believed in compassion over judgment, dignity over shame, and the importance of recognizing the humanity in everyone. Jordan had begun putting his experiences into words, hoping that someday his story might help others find understanding, hope, and a better path forward.

On October 11, 2026, just two days before his passing, Jordan accepted God into his life. His family takes great comfort in his decision to embrace faith and in their belief that he now rests peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord.

Jordan leaves behind his beloved daughter, Aurora “Rory” Vachon; his loving parents, Allyson and Robert Vachon of Franklin; his brother, Seth Allen Vachon of Belmont; his sister, Alexa Mary Lynn Vachon of Hill; his grandmother, Lilly Cote; his uncle, Jeff Vachon; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Jordan’s life was so much more than the challenges he faced. It was a life filled with love, laughter, talent, compassion, and promise. His family hopes that his story will serve as a reminder that every life has value, every person has a story, and no one should ever be defined solely by their struggles.

In honoring Jordan’s memory, his family asks that others extend kindness rather than judgment, offer hope where there is hardship, and remember that even the smallest act of compassion can change someone’s life.

Though Jordan’s journey on earth ended far too soon, his family finds comfort in knowing that his struggles are over, his soul is at peace, and he is finally home in the loving arms of God.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the Episcopal Mission of Franklin, 237 Central Street, Franklin, NH.
