Joseph F. DiCicco

Joseph F. "Freddy" DiCicco Sr., 80, of Boscawen died Saturday, September 15, 2018 following a period of declining health.

Joe was born in Concord on May 13, 1938 to Alphonse DiCicco Sr. and Florence (Wright) Dargie. He attended St. John's School and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Following his time in the service, Joe took up driving truck professionally. His career as a truck driver spanned more than 50 years with his time at the wheel covering both local and long hauls. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, spending countless hours on his beloved Harley. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and traveling to Canada to visit family. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles as well as the American Legion Post 31 in Penacook. Joe will be remembered by so many for his endless generosity. He was always there to lend a hand to a friend or neighbor and he was the first in line to make sure everyone could get out of their driveway in a snow storm.

Loved ones include his wife of 52 years, Emily Laurie DiCicco; his children, Joseph F. DiCicco Jr. and wife Kristen of Webster, Mary K. DiCicco and partner James Bullard of Sharon, VT, and Dustin DiCicco of Boscawen; 7 grandchildren, Nick and Alex DiCicco, Emily Bobo, Gary DiCicco, Katie Gagnon, and Tawnya and Tommy Pelkey; his brother, Alphonse DiCicco and wife Claire; and many great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
