Joseph Andrew Foote, Jr., 58, of Antrim died Sunday, February 9, 2020 following a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born in Nashua, NH on April 13, 1961 to the late Joseph Foote and Elsie (Perrault) Foote.
Joe was always happiest when spending time with his family and friends. Whether they were gathered together around a bonfire, playing cribbage or cards, playing horseshoes and cracking jokes, Joe cherished every moment spent in the company of those he loved. He also loved going to the casinos.
Though life delivered many devastating blows, Joe shouldered every burden with a quiet ease, never complaining or allowing his struggles to make him cynical or critical. He was a beacon of positivity and a shining light in the lives of so many, and he always knew exactly how to lift those around him and make them smile. An ever-present ear to listen, shoulder to cry on, or hand to hold; he was the true definition of selfless, constantly putting aside his own needs to provide for others in any capacity necessary. Joe possessed an awe-inspiring ability to always see the good in every person and every situation. He loved without limitation or reservation and this world is just a little bit darker now that he is gone.
In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his nine siblings: Sharon and Ronald Bernard, Susan and George Winslow, Debra and Carl Provencal, Linda Leighton, John and Janna Foote, Sandra Foote, David Foote, Allison and David Arsenault, and Gail Heather Lupien, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many of whom called him their Papa.
Family and friends are invited to gather Sunday, February 16th 1:30-3:30pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A time of sharing and remembrance will begin at 3:00. Cemetery committal will take place at a later date.
