Joseph A. Gonet

Joseph A. Gonet, 84, of 38 Union Street, Keene die on May 25, 2001 at Genesis Edercare after a lengthy illness. Mr. Gonet was born on March 12, 1917 in Holyoke, MA the son of the late Stanley and Antonia Gonet. He was a graduate of Stamford Technical School and later worked as a draftsman for Machlett Laboratory in Stamford for over 50 years. He served in the US Army Reserve. Mr. Gonet was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and was an all around hobbyist who had many interests. He had his pilot's license and was a great fisherman. He moved to Keene seven years ago to be close to family. Family members include; one brother, Stanley Gonet of Colorado; three sisters Marie Meyer, Ceil Tucker and Isabelle Obuchowski, all of Stamford, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews.
