Joseph R. “Bob” Kelley, 94, of Exeter, NH, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026. He was born in Dummer, NH, September 28, 1932, the son of Joseph & Josephine (Gauvin) Kelley.
As a young man, Bob served honorably in the US Air force. He resided in Berlin, NH, and shortly after being discharged from the military, he married Marguerite Comtois. Bob and Marguerite enjoyed 68 years together, and while raising their three children, Bob worked as an ironworker and devoted his spare time volunteering at the Notre Dame Arena. He also enjoyed working on cars, fishing on cedar pond lake and tinkering around the house. Later in life he couldn't pass up a good yard sale and loved watching Bruins hockey games.
Bob was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite (Comtois) Kelley; his brother, William Kelley; and his sister, Joann Brozyna (Kelley).
Bob leaves behind his three children, sons William Kelley and James Kelley (Elke) and daughter Shawn Dupuis (Marcel); his grandchildren Jaime Dupuis, Stephanie Dupuis, Daniel Rivard (Kyanna), Andrew Rivard, and Cameron Kelley; and great grandchildren Ella, Weston and Adley Rivard.
Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, October 16, 2026, 10:00-11:00am at Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King Street in Boscawen, NH. Memorial Service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with a Remembrance of Life immediately thereafter at Red Blazer Restaurant, 72 Manchester Street in Concord, NH. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive Merrimack, NH, 03054.
