Joseph Lacourse

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph Michel Lacourse, otherwise known as Joey to all who loved him. Joey lost his battle with kidney disease after a long and courageous fight. 

Joey grew up in Bedford, NH in a busy household of seven brothers.  He inherited his mother’s beautiful spirit and his father’s strong work ethic. There was always much joy, laughter and hijinks at the house on County Road. Joey went on to establish JML Drywall and was loved and respected by all who worked for him. Joey was a big man with an even bigger heart. In 1978, Joey married his sweetheart Elaine, recently celebrating 45 years of marriage. Joey loved his family and was so proud of the many accomplishments of his beloved children Tanya and MJ. He adored his dog Louie who brought him great comfort during his long and difficult illness.

Joey will join his many loved ones- his parents, brother George, mother and father-in-law Tom and Anne O’Brien, sister-in-law Kara O’Brien Hall, lifelong friends Alan Button and Dwight Sperry and many others. 

A celebration of Joey’s life will be held at a later date.
