Joseph P. Lasorsa

Joseph Paul Lasorsa, 68, of 4 Berkeley Drive, Hudson died peacefully at home on Thursday November 15, 2001 after a brief illness. Mr. Lasorsa was born on September 16, 1933 in Fitchburg, MA., son of the late Angelo and Anna (Caravella) Lasorsa. He lived in Dracut, MA as well as Nashua, NH before moving to Hudson. He was the husband of Frances (Trodello) Lasorsa, with whom he had been married to for 45 years. Mr. Lasorsa worked for RCA in Burlington, MA for 20 years and retired from MIT working from Haystack Observatory in Westford, MA. He was a US Air Force Veteran who served his county for four years. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He was predeceased by a brother, Louis Lasorsa and two sisters Mary Ditella and Catherine Leger. Besides his wife, survivors include; two sons, Joseph P. (Debra) Lasorsa Jr. of Lowell, MA and Peter M. (Toni) Lasorsa of Bartonville, IL.; three granddaughters, Kyra and Jessica Lasorsa of Lowell, MA and Skyler Lasorsa of Bartonville, IL; his brother Michele Lasorsa of Ayer, MA; four sisters, Michelina Russo and Gloria Lizotte both of Leminster, MA, Louise Hebert of Lunenburg, MA and Ida Soldi of Clinton, MA, several brother in-laws also many nephews and nieces. There will be a Memorial Mass Monday, November 19th at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library Street in Hudson with Father Jack Horan officiating.
