Joseph H.
Levesque
Jul 3, 1937 — Oct 5, 2026
Derry, NH
Friday
Evergreen Cemetery
11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Eastern time)
Joseph Levesque, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories shared with the people he loved.
Joseph was born on July 3, 1937, to George and Aline Levesque. A proud Army veteran, Joseph was a deeply patriotic man who held a strong love for his country. He was also a fiercely independent person who valued living life on his own terms.
In the early 1970s, Joseph married the love of his life, Lily Spinelli. Together, they made their home in Marlborough, Massachusetts, near the lake. Their home became a place where family and friends gathered, particularly during the summer months. Joseph and Lily loved hosting parties and creating the kind of memories that would remain with those fortunate enough to share them.
When Lily passed away in January 1999, Joseph was devastated. Her loss was something he carried with him for the remainder of his life. Now, after so many years apart, Joseph has been reunited with his beloved Lily, and they are together once again.
Joseph loved to cook and took great pleasure in preparing food for others. His love of cooking, entertaining, family, and good company was a special part of who he was.
Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lily Spinelli; his parents, George and Aline Levesque; and his siblings, Simone, Conrad, Velma, and Jeanine.
He is survived by his sisters, Lillian and her husband Don, and JoAnne; his son, Bryan Levesque; his grandchildren, Genevieve and Geoffrey; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Dave, Sandra, Dan, Larry, Camilla, Michelle, Denise, Keith, Liza, and Julie, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Joseph will be remembered for his independence, his patriotism, his love of cooking, and most of all, the love he carried for Lily throughout his life. He leaves behind many memories and a family who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
