Joseph Charles MacKinnon, Jr.

Joseph Charles MacKinnon, Jr., 61, died on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Exeter Hospital. He was born on January 25, 1960 in Dorchester, MA, son of the late Joseph Charles and Rose Marie (Coleman) MacKinnon.

Joe was a 1978 graduate of Timberlane Regional High School. He worked for Amtrak as a Locomotive Engineer until his retirement.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing Minecraft and taking rides in his Porsche with his grandson, motorcycle riding, traveling, and camping. He was also a long-time member of the Crescent Yacht Club in Bradford, MA. Joe had a heart of gold. Whenever anyone needed a hand, he was always the first one there to help.

Along with his parents, Joseph and Rose Marie, he was predeceased by his brother, William MacKinnon.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Kamberalis; grandson, Joseph Kamberalis; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Helen Galard, Patricia Olsen and husband George, Donna LaCorte and husband Wayne, Tracy MacKinnon, and Kristen Norton and husband Elmer; and his brother and sister-in-law, Shawn MacKinnon and wife Trish.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
