Joy "Joybell" R. Rodrique

Joy “Joybell” R. Rodrique, 51, passed away July 24, 2021, at Concord Hospital. Joy was born December 22, 1969 in West Stewartstown, NH to Marlene Rodrique. Joybell spent much of her adult life in the Concord area. Many will fondly remember her from her daily day habilitation outings. She had an infectious smile and enjoyed the simple things in life such as her daily trips to McDonalds for scrambled eggs and hash browns, her dolls, seeing the waitresses at the Windmill Restaurant and above all else the freedom of her backyard.

Joy was predeceased by her grandparents Regina and Pat Rodrique, her uncle Sheridan Rodrique and her aunt Carlene Prehemo.

Joybell is survived and will be missed by her mother Marlene Rodrique, her stepmother Jude Rodrique, her aunt Arlene and fiancé Phil Haley, her aunt Sharon Rodrique, her cousins Michelle, Robin, Ryan, and Kiya. In addition to her large extended family, she is survived by a large community of friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Devin Rodrique who gave his heart to Joy, to Danielle Barnes of Easter Seals for the great care she provided to Joy over the last eleven years, to her case managers at Community Bridges and all of her care providers at Concord Hospital.

Friends and family are invited to the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King Street, Boscawen NH on Friday, July 30th for 11am with a memorial service beginning at 1130am. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire has been entrusted with arrangements. Internment services will take place at Hollow Cemetery, Hill Road in Pittsburg on Monday, August 2nd at 1pm.
