Joyce Saltmarsh

Joyce Hosmer Saltmarsh, 85 of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1938, the daughter of Maurice and Laura (Folsom) Hosmer.

Joyce worked for many years for Concord School District, working in the food service department. Later on, she worked in the Lamp Shop on Main Street. Joyce loved to quilt and sew, having made many beautiful pieces for her family, friends and charities. Joyce absolutely adored her cats. She also enjoyed spending winters in Florida. But Joyce's greatest joy was raising her children.

Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her sisters, Laurice Watterson and Doris Wilson.

Joyce was survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Saltmarsh; sons, Mark Saltmarsh and wife Kim, and Donald Saltmarsh and wife Cheri; daughter, Carol (Saltmarsh) Cantwell and husband Michael; five grandchildren, David, Jillian, Megan, Greg and Kelsey; and five great grandchildren.

Arrangements: A Celebration of Joyce's life will be announced at a later date. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Boscawen.
