Judith C. Carmichael

Judith C. Carmichael, 68, of Wolfeboro died February 10, 2004 at Mountain View Nursing Home in Ossipee following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 14, 1935 in Fort Edwards, NY the daughter of the late Douglas and Mildred (Fitzpatrick) Webster. Judy graduated from Lake George High school in the mid 50’s. She met and married Stuart Carmichael and prior to settling down in New Hampshire they moved extensively around the county with their family. The family ran the Kingston Country Store for several years in the early 1980’s. Judy later worked at the Stationary Store in Wolfeboro until she was forced to retire due to her illness. Family members include; her former husband, Stuart Carmichael of Pickens, SC; one daughter, Laurie and her husband, Peter Gutterson of Manchester; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Kristen and Eric. She was predeceased by her brother, Bill and her sister, Joanne. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 4:00 at the First Congregational Church on Union Street in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Mt.
