Judith (Judy) Ann Ferguson

Judith (Judy) Ann Ferguson, 83, of Nashua, NH died peacefully on November 25, 2023 at her residence. She was born on August 16, 1940, the second of seven children to Chester and Myrtle Leona (Short) Flagg in North Judson, Indiana.

Judy graduated from Indiana State College with a degree in Library Science. She worked in the Pittsfield (MA) Public Schools as an elementary school librarian for twenty years where she encouraged a love of reading to students with her creative storytelling. After retiring, Judy moved to the On Top of the World community in Ocala, Florida where she enjoyed puzzling, going to shows with her husband, and spending time with close friends. She moved back to New England in 2019 to be closer to her family.

Judy is predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Ferguson, daughter Kathryn (Kathy) Ferguson, and sister Barbara Hunter.

Judy is survived by her daughter Debra Darby and husband William, siblings Jack, Terry and Jerry Flagg, Joyce Queen and Margaret Koch, granddaughters Jessica and Sarah Coughlin, Kristin, Mary and Holly Darby, Kelsey Hollick, and many friends at Nashua Crossings.

Services will be held at a later date.
