Judith Ann Medeiros

Judith Ann (Dill) Medeiros, 74, of Manchester, NH, passed away on February 9th, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Judy was born in Attleboro, Ma. at Sturdy Memorial Hospital on January 13th, 1947. She attended Lower Cape May Regional High School where she excelled in academics and loved playing basketball. After graduating High School in 1965, Judy married John Medeiros, her husband of 23 years. They began their family in New Bedford, Ma, where they had three sons.

In the 70's, Judy and her husband worked with youth at The Children's Home in Fall River. They later moved to Lawrence, Ma. in the early 80s and began working at Fidelity House as social workers, assisting people with disabilities. Judy then left to work for the IRS until her retirement.
Judy was an extremely resilient woman and mother, who overcame breast cancer and two bouts of lung cancer. Through her strength she beat several other illnesses, but in the end, Alzheimer's was just too much to overcome.

Judy is survived by her son John Medeiros Jr. & his wife Cortney of Manchester NH, her son Troy Medeiros & his wife Melanie of Methuen MA, and her son Jarrod Medeiros and his wife Paula Mattucci of Haverhill MA. Her grandson Devin, and six granddaughters McKenzie, Essence, Isabella, Olivia, Kayleigh, & Emilianna, and three great grandchildren, Leah, Fallyn, and Chase.

Judy is predeceased by her parents Albert Newton Dill and Evelyn Lois (Card) Dill of Mansfield, Ma., her husband John Medeiros, and her granddaughter Ava Elizabeth Medeiros.

Per Judy's request, a private family service will be held at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH 03104.
