Judith L. (Davis) Paquette, 80, of Rochester, NH died on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at home on hospice care. Born on June 17, 1945, in Portsmouth, NH, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Marie (Careno) Davis. She was the wife of the late Howard Paquette.

Judy was raised in Portsmouth and Middleton. Growing up, she was able to spend time at lighthouses during the summers with her sister, Sandra, as her father was a Merchant Marine whose job was taking care of lighthouses until he retired. She later settled in Rochester once she was married to Howard, her true love who she met at Sunset Roller Skating Rink. She was a 1962 graduate of Farmington High School, and married Howard later that year on September 22, 1962. She worked for Colby Footwear as a fancy stitcher. Later in life, she started working for several local Real Estate & Title companies doing secretarial work, such as title searches and helping to get closings ready. She retired from Atlas Title Company in Dover.

Judy’s hobbies included scrapbooking and reading books. She and Howard cherished time spent together and with their friends. They enjoyed many trips to the beach and to classic car shows. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and met up with friends weekly for Saturday Mass and also enjoyed meeting up with a group of her friends every Wednesday for dinner.

Judy is survived by her sister, Sandra Farrington; her son, David Paquette and his wife Beth; her daughter, Nikki Metayer and her husband Jeff; her son, Ronald Paquette; five grandchildren, Jaclynne, Kendall, Jaymie, Danielle and Isabell; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Gia, James, Olivia, Luka, and another on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Howard and many brother and sister in-laws from her husband’s side of the family.

A Church Service will be held on May 30, 2026 at 10:00AM at Holy Rosary Church, 189 N Main St, Rochester, NH with Father Patrick officiating. A Christian burial will follow at 11:00AM at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Brock Street, Rochester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
