Karen F. Arsenault

Karen Faye Moore was born July 19, 1941, in Rumford, ME.  Karen is predeceased by Raymond Joseph Arsenault, her husband of almost 60 years.   

Karen met Ray in 1959 at a diner in Rumford, ME.  After a whirlwind courtship tour of Mexico, Poland, China, New Sweden, and all towns in Maine, they were married on September 16th, 1961.  Karen leaves behind her four children, Maureen Ann, Allen Raymond, Denise Marie, and MarySue, and 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Kelsey, Liam, Rae, and great grandchild, Amelia Ray.  Karen is also survived by her two remaining siblings, Judy White and Brenda Wurrey. 

Mom was a hard working woman her entire life. Raising four children and supplementing the family income with a variety of jobs in retail.  When MarySue was born the story goes that mom told dad to get her a clothes dryer or else.  Being the man he was, it was purchased.  Mom had a fulfilling life, a loving husband and four wonderful children, her words.  A major goal of Mom and dad was to ensure that their four children were happy and contributing members of society.  The love and sacrifices the two made for their children will always be remembered.
